Overview
Prokore is a professional team of inspection consultants with an expertise in building, code, and fire inspections. They empower architects, builders, and developers to produce high performing, durable, safe, and efficient structures through the application of their extensive building, code, and safety knowledge. Prokore wanted to be positioned as the leading single source for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal building expertise.
Outpost teamed up with Prokore for an ambitious transformation — creating an entirely new brand and digital experience that would solidify their status as an industry leader. We designed user flows that make it easier than ever for homeowners, builders, and municipalities to schedule inspections and stay informed of the overall project progress. We also seized the opportunity to use design as a differentiator, elevating the entire visual aesthetic of the website.
An honest approach
We took an “honest design” approach. Not too trendy, not too serious — just the right amount of modernity to keep Prokore ahead of the curve. In our experience working with companies, we have learned that a company's philosophy must be rooted in solid and coherent values. For Prokore, the design of their new identity became an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
A subsidiary brand for streamlining workflows
During our engagement with Prokore, we've developed several digital products for the company, including the main corporate website and a subsidiary brand, KorePermit, which is a client service portal and project management dashboard. We managed to create a rich and inspiring website while preserving the look and feel of a formal corporate site.
Smart integration for better management
KorePermit, the most significant digital product we built, encompassed all cities of operations and helped automate the permit application, inspection scheduling, and data entry processes, allowing a dozen municipal governments access to real-time in-depth building permit information displayed in a shareable, easy to understand dashboard. We were able to accomplish this through the integration of Smartsheet into the permit application request form via Typeform bridged by Zapier.
